(Discuss) Your Favorite Season?

As October began, I was reminded over and over that it’s fall in America. These reminders came mostly in the form of blog posts either dedicated to the season or acknowledging it in some form. So now let’s discuss seasons together.

What’s your favorite season? Why?

What season is it in your corner of the world right now?

Do you have any fall-related traditions?

Here’s a chance to get to know me and your fellow readers. Here’s a chance for us to get to know you.

  1. Where I am right now, in Cambodia, the seasons are notably different than in North America. There *is* a part of the year that is hotter and a part that is colder, but we really view the seasons in terms of wet and dry. At this time of the year, we get rain every day, almost without exception. Usually, the rain comes in short, heavy bursts. Today was an exception; it was sort of gray and drizzly all day. The trees don’t change color, here, but the bountiful rice fields do.

  2. Hi Jordy, Yes you are acclimatised to Northern America. It is spring here but that started way back on the 1st September. I think you have a stronger marker further from the Equator. They have had the carnival of Flowers in Toowoomba which in my teen years was a great reminder Keep up your good work Love you — Grandma

    1. Oooh, a carnival of flowers – I’ve never been to one, but I imagine there would be scores of pretty plants to look at! Do you go regularly (I assume they have it every year)?

Thanks for your encouragement, grandma. I love you too.
