What makes you smile?

What is most important to you? Why?

Here’s a chance to get to know me and your fellow readers. Here’s a chance for us to get to know you.

  1. I am passionate about the one true God of the Bible.

My passion for Him isn’t perfect. There are days when I don’t “feel it” and I have to rely on what I know to be true – that He is the all-powerful Creator who knows me and loves me (for His own reasons totally beyond my understanding).

I set time apart to spend with Him every day, in part because I love Him and want to know Him more, and in part because I know this is the best thing I can do with my time – regardless of whether I *feel* passionate about Him on any particular day.

I wonder how, exactly, He means for my passion for Him to fit into His plan.

I’m also passionate about writing. Well, I am a writer and aspiring author, after all. I want to harness this secondary passion as I work towards glorifying God.

    1. I like your answer to your discussion post. =) I completely understand not “feeling it”…we need to focus on God even when we can’t “see” Him. I want to be more and more passionate about God as well. I find that sometimes when I feel lost, alone, or weak, reading my Bible brings me the peace and courage to keep on living life for Him. How wonderful that He shows Himself to us in these ways!
